Australia 108 Progress Update
Construction of the highest residences in the Southern hemisphere - otherwise known as Australia 108 - is progressing well. The core structure is now complete up to level 48, and slabs up to level 42. The glass façade has been installed up to level 38, already giving the development more personality and prominence in the Southbank skyline.
Internally, apartment walls have been constructed on level 35, and timber floors are being installed on level 25.
The common areas on level 11, including pool, gymnasium, spas and saunas, theatre and virtual golf room, should be available for residents' use in the next six months, with walls having been constructed and tiling started.
The sky lobby, with its distinct 'curtain' like walls, is also underway.
We are hopeful that Practical Completion will be achieved for Stage 1 (up to level 30) in the next few months.
