Pavilions Blackburn Lake Out to Tender

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church’s flagship development, the luxurious retirement village Pavilions Blackburn Lake, is currently out to tender for a Head Contractor.

The development comprises 148 generously-sized apartments across seven buildings of three levels each. Designed by VIA Architects with interiors by Hecker Guthrie, the project is based on the premise that today’s retirees are independent by choice, and value an active lifestyle. Pavilions Blackburn Lake has been designed to actively promote health, wellbeing and community on top of providing elegant, quality accommodation and amenities for retirees. The palette is warm, incorporating timber, stone and copper as accents.

Positioned in Nunawading, Victoria, next to Blackburn Lake, Pavilions is close to modern conveniences but encompassed by tranquil bushland. It will actually inhabit the very site where the church held camping retreats for the better part of the last century.
